Beyoncé
has done it once again. The Beyhive is in a frenzy because Bey has released her
6th studio album which is now streaming exclusively on Tidal. As a
member of the Beyhive I can say that I am truly overjoyed about the release of
this long awaited album.
The
album was released during the showing of the visual for the album “Lemonade.”
The
hour long visual was a trip into the life of a woman who is dealing with her
husband stepping out on their relationship. Each song embodies the emotions
felt during times like this.
LEMONADE
THE VISUAL:
The
visual for “Lemonade” is a complete work of art. It is rich in Louisiana
culture. Fashion of course was top notch, and the visuals send you on a true
rollercoaster of emotion.
The
album is broken down into sections. Intuition, Denial, Anger, Apathy,
Emptiness, Accountability, Reformation and more. Each section title is related
to a song for example, “Don’t Hurt Yourself” is under the section Anger.
My
favorite section had to be denial because of Beyoncé being happily crazy and
walking around swinging her bat (who some believe is the hot sauce she carries
in her bag) and destroying car windows.
There
were also guest appearances by Amandla Stenberg, Zendaya, Halle and Chloe, Chantelle
Brown- Young (Winnie Harlow) and the mothers of Mike Brown, and Treyvon Martin.
If you have not listen to this album or watched the visual. RUN to Tidal Now and do so I promise you is worth it. (Not just because I am a beyhive member lol.)
